Visit us during Chelsea in Bloom

When an exciting opportunity arises, surprising collaborations happen.

Poliform UK have been on the King’s Road for over 15 years and have always longed to be part of Chelsea in Bloom. Once announced that the event would spread to our part of the King's Road, we immediately set upon searching for a partner. Princess and Kō, a young and vibrant company run by owners Dawid “Princess" Pierwola and Elias Kouyialis were the first to meet with us, and with the wedding theme in mind, the bride and groom in flowers was born. With a high profile project already executed, Ethologie for Jasper Garvida’s Spring/Summer 2017 Ready-To-Wear Collection, the idea further blossomed.

Excited by the prospect of adorning our front window as a bridal bower, one of our glamorous team appeared and the idea of a live bride with afro hair adorned with flowers and in a wedding dress of flowers was then destined to become reality. The name of Princess and Kō so perfectly married the pending Royal nuptials, and as such we had to partner in this fabulous event.

Poliform’s front window will be replaced by this vision of 70's inspired marriage of flowers for the duration of Chelsea in Bloom, covering the front window of their 11,000 square foot showroom with our living Bride on the Monday and Tuesday of the event.

After a 3 year spell working together at one of London’s top florists on jaw-dropping installations and projects, we decided to take our creative collaboration to the next level.

And so Princess & Kō was born, built on our ability to break free from the box and offer something unique. Our aim is to nourish our clients’ creativity – and we always say you don’t need an occasion to pick up a flower.

Dawid ‘Princess’ Pierwola
Born in a small village on the mountain tops of south Poland, a 17-year-old Dawid decided it was time to set sail for new horizons. Working at a bank was not his idea of a life. After landing in the UK, he got his first introduction to floristry and discovered he had more than just a knack for it. And it wasn’t long before the flower industry would echo with the name Princess.

Elias Kouyialis
Brought up between the white sand beaches and olive groves of Cyprus, Elias returned to his birthplace, London, to study. After toying with a law degree, he was drawn to the world of flowers and trained at the world’s leading floristry school. His signature designs would become instantly recognizable in the grandest hotels and restaurants in the capital.
